		<description>Could you explain why you think PHP can&#039;t &quot;extend&quot; it&#039;s objects?  With PHP5 you can do just that.  I&#039;ve  used PHP5&#039;s extend function for many objects on various projects. 
 
PHP also can inherit and other things that a full blown OOP language like C++ can do. 
 
Could you possibly explain a little further?  Maybe I misread your comment. </description>
